Rather expected game in Joniskis where 12th ranked Silute (1-6) was edged by tenth ranked Delikatesas (4-3) 75-73 on Friday. Silute was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 21-16 charge of Delikatesas, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Silute outrebounded Delikatesas 40-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Benas Bagdonavicius (202-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) helped adding 12 points and 4 steals. At the losing side center Nerijus Anglickis (214-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and center Edgaras Sosnovskis (205-91) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Four Silute players scored in double figures. Delikatesas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Silute lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. Delikatesas will face Suduva-Mantinga (#6) in Marijampole in the next round. Silute will play at home against Palanga (#5) and hope to win that game.
