Regular Season Round 3: Lousada - AD Vagos 64-84

AD Vagos (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Lousada (0-3) 84-64. AD Vagos dominated on the defensive end, holding Lousada to just 7 points in second quarter. They also forced 19 Lousada turnovers. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for guard Brandie Hoskins (175-85) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points. Forward Stephanie Sension (190, college: Green Bay) helped adding 9 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Tanisha McTiller (172-92, college: Towson) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Cheshi Poston (188-91, college: Arizona) scored 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AD Vagos will play against Academico FC in Porto in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Lousada will play at home against Olivais and hopes to get finally their first victory.
