But Afyon was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Akdeniz 83-77 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 28-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Afyon was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Azizcan Ozdemir (201-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Four Mersin players scored in double figures.
