Regular Season Round 3: Academico FC - Olivais 46-40

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when Academico FC (1-2) beat Olivais (1-2) in Porto 46-40 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 13-4. But Olivais won third quarter 14-7. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Academico FC dominated on the defensive end, holding Olivais to just 4 points in first quarter and to 13 points in first half. Academico FC held Olivais to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 25.9 percent accuracy of the winners.
