Rhein MB II can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Germering, where they defeated Friendsfactory Germering (0-5) 90-77. The game was mostly controlled by Rhein MB II. Friendsfactory Germering was better in second period 23-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Friendsfactory Germering 38-26 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Rhein MB II especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. American guard Alexandra Chili (183, college: Muhlenberg) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Mara Greunke (186-91) accounted for 8 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Jezabel Ohanian (170-77) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Magdalena von Geyr (180-84) added 19 points respectively for Friendsfactory Germering in the defeat. Four Friendsfactory Germering players scored in double figures. Rhein MB II (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place in South, which they share with Viernheim. It was Friendsfactory Germering's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Rhein MB II's next round opponent will be Muenchen B. (#11) at home. Friendsfactory Germering will play against Weiterstadt and hopes to get finally their first victory.
