Very predictable result when Fenerbahce Ulker (2-1) won against on the road Trabzonspor (0-3) 87-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. Trabzonspor managed to win third quarter 22-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Trabzonspor 38-25 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fenerbahce Ulker especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Croatian-Bosnian center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (205-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Trabzonspor in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fenerbahce Ulker will meet at home Tofas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trabzonspor will play against Besiktas in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
