Regular Season Round 4: CSU Sibiu - Oradea 86-84

A very interesting game took place in Sibiu. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Oradea (1-3) to seventh ranked CSU Sibiu (2-1) 86-84 on Sunday evening. Oradea was ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 24-13 charge of CSU Sibiu, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Oradea outrebounded CSU Sibiu 35-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Serbian swingman Milos Bojovic (198-81, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 assists. International point guard Octavian Calota (186-84) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Marcus Hatten (185-80, college: St.John's) replied with 23 points and Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) added 17 points and 7 assists in the effort for Oradea. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CSU Sibiu moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rovinari. Oradea lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. CSU Sibiu's next round opponent will be U-Banca TR in Cluj. Oradea will play at home against the league's leader Steaua CSM and hope to win that game.
