But Tofas was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Istanbul 93-70 on Monday night. The game without a history. Anadolu Efes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tofas' 40. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Matt Janning (197-88, college: Northeastern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anadolu Efes will meet at home Karsiyaka in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tofas will play against Fenerbahce Ulker in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
