Very expected game when Yambol (0-3) was defeated on the road by Levski Sofia (2-1) 90-76 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Levski Sofia. Yambol managed to win fourth quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Levski Sofia looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Yambol's players. The best player for the winners was Aleks Simeonov (200-93) who scored 15 points and 6 assists. International Pavel Ivanov (200-88, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Levski Sofia will meet Balkan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yambol will play against Chernomorets and hopes to get finally their first victory.
