Regular Season Round 4: Final Genclik - Adanaspor 101-109

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Final Genclik (2-2) lost to thirteenth ranked Adanaspor (2-2) in Bursa 101-109 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 57-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Adanaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Mike Davis (205-88, college: Illinois) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Jeremy Ingram (190-92, college: N.C.Central) supported him with 32 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds by forward Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) did not help to save the game for Final Genclik. Guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) added 21 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Adanaspor moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Final Genclik and Gediz. Adanaspor will meet at home higher ranked Akhisar Bld in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Final Genclik will play against Buyukcekmece and hope to secure a win.
