Regular Season Round 5: SISU - Wolfpack 95-88

The most surprising game was the first loss of Wolfpack (4-1) in Copenhagen on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked SISU (2-3) 95-88. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Wolfpack. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 55-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. SISU looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. International forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. International guard Gabriel Lundberg (191-94) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Ryan White (180-88, college: Texas St.) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Wolfpack. Four SISU and five Wolfpack players scored in double figures. SISU moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Randers. Newly promoted Wolfpack keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Horsens IC and Svendborg. SISU is looking forward to face league's second-placed Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wolfpack will play on the road against the league's leader Bakken in Aarhus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
