Regular Season Round 4: Eskisehir Basket - Istanbul BSB 81-69

Eskisehir Basket has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Istanbul BSB (1-3) 81-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Eskisehir Basket. Istanbul BSB was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Matt Walsh (197-82, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St.) who added 17 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Alex Stepheson (208-87, college: USC) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (191-85, college: Central Mo.) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Eskisehir Basket left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Istanbul BSB. Eskisehir Basket will face higher ranked TED Kolejliler (#10) in Ankara in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
