Regular Season Round 4: Fener.Ulker - Tofas 80-70

Date: November 1, 2014
Rather predictable result in Istanbul where ninth ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (3-1) defeated 11th ranked Tofas (1-3) 80-70 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 28-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Andrew Goudelock (190-88, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and international Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach Zeljko Obradovic used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American Andre Smith (204-85, college: N.Dakota St.) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh) scored 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 6 other teams. Tofas lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with three games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will face Karsiyaka (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tofas will play against Besiktas (#7) and hope to win that game.
