The game in Mykolaiv supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th placed Ferro-ZNTU (3-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Mykolaiv (4-2). Mykolaiv smashed Ferro-ZNTU 82-57 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Mykolaiv. Ferro-ZNTU managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mykolaiv shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mykolaiv made 8 blocks. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mykolaiv. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Budivelnyk and Dnipro. Ferro-ZNTU lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
