Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (4-4) won against at home 15th ranked Cuxhaven BasCats (1-7) 79-72 on Sunday. Cuxhaven BasCats trailed by 18 points at halftime and as many as 19 after three quarters before a 31-19 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 72-79 at the end of the game. Oettinger Rockets Gotha dominated on the defensive end, holding Cuxhaven BasCats to just 7 points in first quarter. Cuxhaven BasCats were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
