Regular Season Round 6: SISU - Horsens IC 86-78

The most important game in the last round took place in Copenhagen between second ranked Horsens IC (4-2) and seventh ranked SISU (3-3) on Monday night. Horsens IC was defeated by SISU in a tough game on the road 78-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Horsens IC. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-78. SISU made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) had a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) chipped in 8 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) with 17 points and American guard Marquis Addison (193, college: Missouri So.) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Naestved and Randers. Horsens IC at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Wolfpack. SISU is looking forward to face Randers (#6) on the road in the next round. Horsens IC will play against Horsholm and is hoping to win this game.
