Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (4-4) and BG Goettingen (3-5), which took place in Goettingen. Higher ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven lost to fifteenth ranked BG Goettingen in a road game 84-93 on Friday. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven trailed by 17 points at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 38-27 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 84-93 at the end of the game.
