Very expected game in Kyiv where 8th ranked Hoverla (1-5) was defeated by fourth ranked Budivelnyk (5-2) 76-69 on Friday. Hoverla trailed by 24 points after 3 quarters before a 28-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-76 at the end of the game. Budivelnyk looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Maxim Ivshyn (209-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who scored 13 points and 7 rebounds.
