Regular Season Round 6: Mladost ZE - Napredak 90-67

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Zemun. Top-ranked Mladost ZE faced 3rd ranked Napredak. Host Mladost ZE (6-0) smashed guests from Aleksinac (4-2) 90-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Napredak. The game without a history. Mladost ZE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.8 percent from the field. Mladost ZE looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Napredak's players. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin Vladimir Bulatovic (-91) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Petar Beader (205-85, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Svetozar Stamenkovic (202-90) who recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds and Aleksandar Miladinovic added 13 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mladost ZE have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Napredak at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Vojvodina NS. Mladost ZE are looking forward to face Meridiana NS (#12) in Novi Sad in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Napredak will play at home against Sloboda (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
