Important game to mention about took place in Burgas. Haskovo 2012 (3-0) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Neftochimic (1-2) 73-70 on Saturday evening. Neftochimic was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 22-12 charge of Haskovo 2012, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Neftochimic 47-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. Neftochimic was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American center Cierra Warren (193-91, college: San Diego St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds. Ukrainian guard Olga Dubrovina (170-87) helped adding 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Ivelina Vrancheva (175-80) with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Serbian forward Dragana Gobeljic (185-88) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Neftochimic's coach Detcho Koeshinov tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Haskovo 2012 will play against Rilski Sportist in Samokov in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Neftochimic will play on the road against Levski in Sofia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
