Very expected game when 10th ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (2-6) was defeated at home by fourth ranked SV Halle Lions (6-2) 65-61 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tiffany Porter-Talbert (177-84, college: W.Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import power forward Mekia Valentine (193-88, college: UCSB) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
