Very important is a road loss of third ranked SISU (2-2) against seventh ranked Aabyhoj (1-5) on Saturday night. Visiting SISU was crushed by Aabyhoj in Aabyhoj 81-59. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-59. Aabyhoj dominated on the defensive end, holding SISU to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 25 SISU turnovers and outrebounded them 49-34 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Sofie Preetzmann (180-95) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Nicole Ballestero (173-92, college: Vanguard) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Katrine Dyszkant (183-86) with 24 points and point guard Julie Kongeskov (177-83, college: Valdosta St.) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Aabyhoj maintains seventh position with 1-5 record. Defending champion SISU dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Aabyhoj will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play against the league's leader Lemvig (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
