Everything could happen in Leverkusen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked SG BBZ Opladen and 4th placed BG 74 Veilchen had identical 4-2 record. This time SG BBZ Opladen used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Goettingen 75-68 on Sunday night. It was a key game for the second position in North. They moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Neuss and Wolfenbuettel. Loser BG 74 Veilchen dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. SG BBZ Opladen will face Hannover (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BG 74 Veilchen will play against Zehlendorf (#12) and hope to win that game.
