Regular Season Round 9: Hoverla - Halychyna 74-51

Bottom-ranked Halychyna (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-51 loss to tenth ranked Hoverla (2-6) in Frankivsk. The game was mostly controlled by Hoverla. Halychyna was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Halychyna to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Hoverla dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Halychyna's 18. Hoverla forced 23 Halychyna turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Halychyna's players. 29 personal fouls committed by Halychyna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
