Regular Season Round 6: Rilski - Chernomorets 105-75

Bottom-ranked Chernomorets (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Rilski (3-2) 105-75. The game without a history. Rilski led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 72.7 percentage. Rilski players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Chernomorets' players. It was a good game for the former international guard Zlatin Georgiev (196-85) who led his team to a victory with 21 points (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!). American guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Serbian center Ilija Milutinovic (211-88, college: Oakland, agency: Global Sports Plaza) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Bogdan Boev (196-82) added 21 points in the effort for Chernomorets. Five Rilski and four Chernomorets players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cherno More. Chernomorets at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Rilski's next round opponent will be Cherno More (#4) in Varna. Chernomorets will play at home against Spartak Pleven (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
