Regular Season Round 7: Horsholm - Amager 64-57

Date: November 15, 2014
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Horsholm (4-2) beat at home 6th ranked Amager (2-5) 64-57. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American center Joy Burke (196-90, college: Arizona St.) who led her team to a victory scoring 12 points. Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) helped adding 11 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) responded with 18 points and American forward Lauren Gregory (185-87, college: Vanguard) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsholm maintains third place with 4-2 record having just three points less than leader Lemvig. Amager at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Horsholm will play against Falcon (#5) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against SISU in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
