The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory CSU Sibiu went down to sixth position due to points difference, which they share with BC Timisoara. Loser Timba Timosoara keeps the eleventh place with six games lost. CSU Sibiu will face Targu Mures (#8) at home in the next round. Timba Timosoara will play against U-Banca TR in Cluj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
