Regular Season Round 10: Halychyna - DniproAzot 84-82

Halychyna's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after seven consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat DniproAzot (1-8) 84-82 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 18-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 26 personal fouls committed by DniproAzot helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Anton Dziuba (204-95) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Anton Davydiuk (205-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, college: Bryant) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Eugene Harris (188-86, college: High Point, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 18 points and 7 assists in the effort for DniproAzot. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Halychyna (1-7) left bottom position moving up to tenth place. It was DniproAzot's fourth loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. Halychyna are looking forward to face higher ranked Dnipro (#4) in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. DniproAzot will play on the road against Hoverla (#9) in Frankivsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
