The game in Falcon supposed to be quite interesting. Third ranked Horsholm (5-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Falcon (2-5). Horsholm smashed Falcon 82-60 on Saturday. Horsholm dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Falcon's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American center Joy Burke (196-90, college: Arizona St.) who added 16 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Guard Sarah Mortensen (183-97) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsholm have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-2 record behind leader Lemvig. Falcon at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face SISU (#5) in Copenhagen in the next round. Falcon will play on the road against Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
