There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Orduspor (2-3) beat at home higher ranked Adana ASKI (2-3) 74-66 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Adana ASKI won third quarter 20-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Orduspor won last quarter 20-13. British power forward Chantelle Handy (188-87, college: Marshall) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman Megan Frazee (193-87, college: Liberty) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Orduspor players scored in double figures. American forward Erlana Larkins (185-86, college: N.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89) added 20 points in the effort for Adana ASKI. Orduspor moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Adana ASKI. Orduspor will face Hatay (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
