Superleague top team - Khimik (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Ferro-ZNTU (4-6) in Zaporozhye 78-56. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Khimik outrebounded Ferro-ZNTU 51-33 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-87, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. The former international center Igor Zaytsev (210-89) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Khimik players scored in double figures. Forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and guard Alexander Rybalko (190-79) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Khimik have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Ferro-ZNTU lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost.
