Very important is a road loss of second ranked Wuerzburg (6-3) against seventh ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (5-4) on Sunday night. Visiting Wuerzburg was defeated by Weissenhorn Youngstars in a tough game in Weissenhorn 64-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wuerzburg. It was a good game for Canadian guard Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St.) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Weissenhorn Youngstars players scored in double figures. Weissenhorn Youngstars' coach Daniel Jansson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Maximilian Ugrai (202-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Donovan Morris (191-84, college: Long Beach St.) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Wuerzburg. Weissenhorn Youngstars moved-up to fourth place in Group South, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Wuerzburg keeps the second position with three games lost. Weissenhorn Youngstars' next round opponent will be TV Langen (#8) on the road. Wuerzburg will play against Speyer (#12) and hope to win that game.
