Bottom-ranked DniproAzot managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of four consecutive loses. This time they won against ninth-ranked Hoverla in Frankivsk 81-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoverla. It looked good early as Hoverla took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then DniproAzot took control winning next two quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 8 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Chris Ferguson (206-89, college: Mid-Continent) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. His fellow American import guard Eugene Harris (188-86, college: High Point, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) accounted for 25 points for the winning side. American point guard Mackey McKnight (183, college: Lehigh, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) came up with 22 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and center Anatolii Chelovan (206-91) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Hoverla in the defeat. Five DniproAzot and four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Hoverla's coach Evgeni Murzin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. DniproAzot (2-8) moved-up to tenth place. Hoverla at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost.
