The game in Copenhagen was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Svendborg (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked SISU (5-5). Svendborg defeated SISU 98-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SISU. The game was mostly controlled by Svendborg. SISU was better in fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svendborg dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 30. It was a great shooting night for Svendborg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American point guard Johnell Smith (180-80, college: New Orleans) notched 28 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and the other American import center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) supported him with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Svendborg's coach Craig Pedersen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) did not help to save the game for SISU. International forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) added 13 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Svendborg moved-up to third place, which they share with Wolfpack. SISU at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Svendborg's next round opponent will be league's leader Bakken in Aarhus and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play on the road against Naestved (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
