Regular Season Round 10: Horsens IC - Aalborg 105-82

Bottom-ranked Aalborg (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 105-82 loss to second ranked Horsens IC (8-2) in Horsens on Thursday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Aalborg managed to win fourth quarter 30-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Aalborg's 42. Horsens IC forced 23 Aalborg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Aalborg's players. They maintain second position with 8-2 record behind leader Bakken. Loser Aalborg still closes the standings with ten games lost. Horsens IC will meet Vaerlose (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Aalborg will play against Wolfpack and hopes to get finally their first victory.
