Bottom-ranked Spartak Pleven is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to sixth ranked Cherno More (4-3) 89-74 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Cherno More. Spartak Pleven managed to win fourth quarter 30-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cherno More looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by the former international point guard Asen Velikov (187-86) who scored that evening 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Bozhidar Avramov (198-90, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 12 points and 11 assists. Four Cherno More players scored in double figures. Cherno More's coach Denislav Kotsev used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds by the former international power forward Ivan Tilev (204-79) did not help to save the game for Spartak Pleven. point guard Tsvetoslav Ostrev (175-86) added 14 points and 8 assists for the hosts. Cherno More moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rilski. Loser Spartak Pleven still closes the standings with seven games lost.
