Regular Season Round 11: Marburg - Wasserburg 63-77

Undefeated leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg delivered the eleventh consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they beat 10th ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (3-8) 77-63. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. BC Pharmaserv Marburg managed to win fourth quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) who scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Alissa Pierce (177-86) produced 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Tonisha Baker (173-90, college: Campbell) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TSV 1880 Wasserburg (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. BC Pharmaserv Marburg at the other side dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Chemnitz and Rhein MB. TSV 1880 Wasserburg are looking forward to face ChemCats Chemnitz (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BC Pharmaserv Marburg will play against Bad Aibling and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
