Regular Season Round 11: Naestved - SISU 75-86

Ligaen round 11 most important game was a victory of SISU over 6th ranked Naestved 86-75 on Thursday night. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Naestved managed to win third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SISU forced 19 Naestved turnovers. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 4 steals. International forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Brazilian forward Matao de Souza (201-86, college: Idaho) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian guard Milan Stanojevic (183-86, college: E.Washington, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 8 assists in the effort for Naestved. Naestved's coach Bogdan Karaicic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SISU (6-5) moved-up to sixth place. Naestved at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Vaerlose (#8) at home in the next round. Naestved will play against Wolfpack in Copenhagen and is hoping to win this game.
