Galitos-Tley (#10) forced the game against Maia Basket (#7) into an overtime, but lost by ten points 87-97. The game took place in Barreiro. But the guests from Maia were better at the end. Galitos-Tley was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 20-15 third quarter run of Maia Basket. They tied the game at the end of regular time. Then they were better in overtime eventually winning that period 14-4. Maia Basket made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Maia Basket forced 19 Galitos-Tley turnovers. Galitos-Tley at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Maia Basket's next round opponent will be league's leader Benfica at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Galitos-Tley will play against the league's second-placed Barcelos (#2) and hope to win that game.
