Regular Season Round 11: Iserlohn - Schwelm 75-63

An interesting game for Iserlohn (10-1) which hosted in Iserlohn 3rd placed SG Schwelmer Baskets (7-4). First ranked Iserlohn managed to get a 12-point victory 75-63. It was an exceptional evening for British forward Orlan Jackman (201-88, college: Oklahoma City) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Center Marcel Theodor Kessen (205-97) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Center Sebastian Schroter (207-83) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian swingman Chris Johnson (196-88, college: St.Bonaventure) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for SG Schwelmer Baskets in the defeat. SG Schwelmer Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Iserlohn have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted Iserlohn maintains first place in Group South with 10-1 record. Loser SG Schwelmer Baskets keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Karlsruhe. Iserlohn will meet at home TV Langen (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SG Schwelmer Baskets will play against Fraport Skyliners II (#7) in Frankfurt and hope to secure a win.
