Regular Season Round 6: ONMU-Vimar - SDYUSHOR-4 65-54

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Odessa where fifth ranked ONMU-Vimar (1-5) defeated one of their biggest challengers SDYUSHOR-4 (1-5) 65-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by ONMU-Vimar. SDYUSHOR-4 was better in second period 16-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ONMU-Vimar forced 19 SDYUSHOR-4 turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Nadia Teleshyk (173-95) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Anastasia Drozdova (167-96) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Yulia Bohatyuk (184-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and forward Alina Bondarenko (186-95) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively. ONMU-Vimar left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. ONMU-Vimar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Odessa to the arena Interkhim.
