The game between 15th ranked Istanbul DSI (2-8) and tenth ranked Socar Petkim (6-4) in Istanbul on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Petkim outscored Istanbul DSI 92-57. Surinamese-Dutch guard Charlon Kloof (190-90, college: St.Bonaventure) replied with 22 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and forward Soner Sahin (202-84) added 6 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Istanbul DSI. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Socar Petkim moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Istanbul DSI lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with eight games lost. Socar Petkim will face Adanaspor (#8) at home in the next round. Istanbul DSI will play against Mamak DSI (#14) in Ankara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
