Very expected game when 12th ranked Alges (1-5) lost at home to fourth ranked Ovarense (4-3) 64-53. The game was mostly controlled by Ovarense. Alges was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international forward Miguel Miranda (205-78) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Jaime Silva (187-80) chipped in 23 points and 4 steals. The former international Rui Quintino (194-83) produced 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Guinea-Bissau forward Josimar Cardoso (201-87) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ovarense.
