The game between closely ranked teams ended with 15th ranked Cuxhaven BasCats' (2-11) home loss to fourteenth ranked Bayer Giants (4-9) 68-94 on Saturday. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bayer Giants maintains fourteenth place with 4-9 record. Cuxhaven BasCats lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ehingen. Bayer Giants will meet at home higher ranked Baunach (#13) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
