Very predictable result when second ranked Wuerzburg (8-3) won against at home 9th ranked Licher Basket (4-7) 88-75 on Sunday. Wuerzburg shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Donovan Morris (191-84, college: Long Beach St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Maximilian Ugrai (202-95) contributed with 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Wuerzburg players scored in double figures. American guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) answered with 21 points and the other American import swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) added 17 points in the effort for Licher Basket. Newly promoted Wuerzburg maintains second place in Group South with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Iserlohn. Loser Licher Basket dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Wuerzburg will face again Licher Basket (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
