Regular Season Round 11: BSW Sixers - Braunschweig 75-72

The most exciting game of round 11 in the ProB took place in Sandersdorf. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked DRUFF! (7-5) to eleventh ranked Sixers (5-7) 75-72 on Sunday evening. 28 personal fouls committed by DRUFF! helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Robert Zinn (196-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American Adrian Hill (203-84, college: Rutgers) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Dominique Johnson (194-92, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Martin Bogdanov (183-92) added 16 points in the effort for DRUFF!. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sixers moved-up to ninth place in Group North, which they share with 3 other teams. DRUFF! at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Itzehoe and Rist Wedel. Sixers is looking forward to face higher ranked Magdeburg (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DRUFF! will play against USC Leipzig and is hoping to win this game.
