Adana ASKI was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Canik Bld, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Joslyn Tinkle (190-90, college: Stanford) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Her fellow American import center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh, agency: GoaBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Briann January (173-87, college: Arizona St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized American forward Michelle Campbell (188-84, college: Rutgers) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Adana ASKI's coach Kaan Artun tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Canik Bld moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Adana ASKI and Orduspor. Canik Bld will face Ormanspor (#13) in Ankara in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
