Regular Season Round 8: HEO - Leotar 78-70

The most important game in the last round took place in Bileca between third ranked Leotar (6-2) and ninth ranked HEO (3-4) on Sunday night. Leotar was defeated by HEO in a tough game on the road 70-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leotar. Leotar trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 17-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-78 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Leotar 31-18 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for HEO especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian Dino Negovanovic who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and Nemanja Bratic (201-93) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Forward Dejan Sakotic (194-93) responded with 26 points and forward Vladimir Aleksic (198-87) scored 11 points. Leotar's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. HEO moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sloboda Tuzla. Leotar at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. HEO is looking forward to face Mladost (#11) in Mrkonjic Grad in the next round. Leotar will play at home against Varda HE (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
