We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (7-5) lost on the road to sixth ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (7-5) 73-57 on Sunday. Canadian guard Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Nils Mittmann (201-79) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Weissenhorn Youngstars players scored in double figures. point guard Viktor Frankl-Maus (186-93) answered with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Fabian Thuelig (199-89) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Dragons Rhoendorf. Weissenhorn Youngstars moved-up to fifth place in Group South, which they share with Dragons. Weissenhorn Youngstars will face Saarlouis (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against White Wings (#8) and hope to win that game.
