A very interesting game took place in Adana. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Edirne (2-5) to sixth ranked Botas (4-3) 72-71 on Sunday evening. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Pelin Bilgic (175-94) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 5 assists. American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. American swingman Marissa Coleman (185-87, college: Maryland) came up with 23 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian center Luca Ivankovic (198-87) added 15 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Edirne in the defeat. Four Edirne players scored in double figures. Botas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Besiktas and Mersin. Edirne lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Botas' next round opponent will be higher ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#4) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Edirne will play at home against Hatay (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
